Cecily Rankin
Cecily is a variant of the Latin name Cecilia, which denoted a woman of the plebeian clan Caecilii, whose name is said to derive from the Latin for "blind." The Catholic saint St. Cecilia was the patron saint of the blind and of music.
The influence of asteroid Cecily seems to be what its name would therefore suggests: blind, blind to, not seeing.
