Asteroid 32811 Apisaon, a Jupiter Trojan, was iscovered October 14, 1990 by Freimut Börngen and Lutz D. Schmadel at Karl-Schwarzschild-Observatorium (Karl Schwarzschild Observatory) in Tautenburg, Thuringia, Germany. It has a period of 11 years, 357 days.
Apisaon was named for a Trojan officer who, in Book 11 of The Iliad, took on Aias (Ajax) and was speared through the liver by Eurypylos, who was shot with an arrow in the thigh as he was stripping Apisaon of his armor and yelled for his comrades to defend Ajax.
Astrologically, Apisaon seems to indicate to discover something, to find out about something , or to be de-armored, to lose one's mojo, to be impaled.
The glyph for Apisaon is mine.
