Asteroid 6015, Paularego, was discovered on August 7, 1991 by Henry E. Holt at Palomar Observatory near Pauma Valley, California. It has a period of 3 years, 294 days.
It was named for Portuguese-born artist Paula Rego (born 1935), whose work tends to emphasize anthropomorphization, ascribing human characteristics to animals or vice versa, and is often on the theme of malicious domination or the subversion of natural order.
